Last Saturday I made a trip to one of my 3 Local Yarn Shops. I haven’t visited this one in awhile and I didn’t have anything special in mind. A sample of this Berocco Sweater was on display.
I immediately knew that this was a must have for my wardrobe. Perfect for late winter and early spring, the short sleeves are just my style.
The yarn is Berocco Peruvia Quick. A bulky weight yarn worked on Size 11 needles with 3 stitches and 4 rows to the inch. I knew that this would be a finished garment quickly.
Next to find the perfect color and I did. Here’s the wonderful color name Auquamarina.

And finally, the button that will change this from an ordinary sweater into something truly magnificant

I finished the back before the weekend was over. I knit both front pieces at once during the week and now I’m ready to start the sleeves.
Hope to finish it in the next two weeks. The first day of Spring is Wednesday, March 20th and I hope to wear my sweater to celebrate the day.
