How Cute are These!

Knit egg cozy and sew mini apron are my two latest quick projects.

First, the Bunny Egg Cozy.  I found this adorable knit pattern on Etsy while making a knitting themed Treasury.  Since I love egg cups, I knew this would be a great addition to my collection.  The pattern is by Little Cotton Rabbits.  It’s simple to knit and easy to put together.  I had fingering weight yarn left from a baby sweater that worked well.  I’ll be making a few more of these for Spring for myself and as gifts.

Then, my mini apron.  The apron is  a Simplicity Pattern.  I had plenty of scraps of cotton fabric and used quarter inch seam binding for the edges.  Again, easy to make and really fun to own.  I’m adding this to my upcoming library display of doll clothes.

In the meantime, I’m working on the Turn of the Glass Cardigan from Knitty.  I can’t wait to share it with you.  The pattern is a delight to knit and I think it’s going to be my all time favorite sweater.

And, I found another podcast to listen to while driving home from work.  If you haven’t listened to Savvy Girls podcast, give it a try.  These two knitting sisters have a great podcast.
