Yarn in my Travels

A Visit to Italy Part 3

In April, I spent 10 days in Italy and as I posted , I discovered three yarn stores.  My visit to Milan was wonderful and I discovered Mani Di Fata.  What a lovely shop.  Here’s what I bought home

This beautiful Sesia Baby is 100% cotton, super soft and the colors are bright.  Each skein is 178 meters or about 190 yards.  I’ve envisioning a very special baby sweater.  Don’t know yet who the recipient will be but I always like to have finished gifts ready.

The people in the shop were lovely and packaged my yarn in these lovely bags.  They are not paper but a gauze type of fabric.  The outer bag includes a zipper closing.  A great project bag and wonderful souvenir

This sewing kit is from my visit to the shop, too

Italy was filled with wonderful sites.  Here’s a few picture from the trip
