More Dishcloth Dress Knitting Patterns

Leisure Arts has published my new collection of knit dishcloth dress patterns.  This collection of 7 dresses each with the newly designed bodice are named for a fun activity that you’d like to do instead of cleaning up the kitchen .  These dishcloths are knit with a worsted weight cotton yarn and U.S. Size 7 knitting needles.  They are a quick and fun project that are a unique way to display your dishcloths.

On the cover is the Saturday at the Beach, Monday Shopping Spree, and Sunday Brunch dishcloth dress.

Here’s Thursday off to the Spa and Friday Night Dinner Date on a 10 ounce detergent bottle.

I hope you enjoy knitting and using these!  Check out my post of June 2, 2016 to see how one knitter used the Wedding Day dishcloth from the original collection for Bridal Shower favors.  Visit my pattern shop to see all the knit dishcloth dress patterns that are available.

I’d love to share a copy of my new book with you so I’m hosting this giveaway from now through Friday, April 28, 2017.  Enter below for your chance to win a signed copy of More Dishcloth Dresses.  There’s several ways to enter so be sure to choose more than one.

  1. I’ve actually never seen these before. I saw your post on Ravelry about the contest and rushed over to enter – these would be perfect not only for me but also for my (very small apartment) daughter to declutter the sink area of our kitchens!

    1. I’m so glad that you saw my post on Ravelry. These are a quick and fun knit that I know you’ll enjoy. Hope to see some on your Ravelry project page.

  2. You will love these! I have most all of Debbie’s patterns for the dresses and I love making them!

  3. You just gave me a reason to get myself into a craft store — love the basket weave patterned dress. These knit up so quickly.

    1. The dress dishcloths are one sided since their intended use is as a dishcloth and then they hang on the detergent bottle. To make it 2 sided just knit 2 and sew the skirt part together. Then you’d have a mitt of sorts.
